Cross-stitch progress and new decoupage
I'm currently busy with some Christmas stitching and I have some finished minis that I won't show because they all will be presents for friens. But I want to share with my progress on the lady on orage fabric. I haven't stitched a lot on it but I have some small progress. The problem now is that DMC black floss had disappeared in all shops in my hometown and I have just a little bit left. I'm using Anchor for my other projects, but for the lady I want DMC because I've already started stitching with it. So here is a photo of the lady:
Напоследък съм заедна с шиенето на коледни миниатюрки и имам няколко завършени и оформени, но няма да ги покажа, защото всички са предназначени за подаръци. Но искам да сподела напредъка по графиката на оранжева панама. Не съм ушила много, но все пак има малък напредък. Проблемът ми е, че никъде в града няма черен ДМЦ конец, а аз имам съвсем малко останал. За другите бродерии използвам Анхор, но за графиката искам да е ДМЦ, защото вече съм започнала да шия с такъв конец. Надявам се скоро магазините да си набавят черния цвят и да мога да продължа с графиката. Ето и снимка:
Last Sunday I attended a cross-stitch meeting and prepared a decoupage box for a lady who had birthday earlier this month. I chose the same rose motif I used in my first attempt because the lady who the box was intended for loves roses. This second decoupage attempt turned to be much more successful than the previous. I added a small rose in the inner part of the box's top and on the bottom of the box. Here are some pictures:
Миналата неделя присъствах на гобленарска среща и подготвих една малка кутия, декорираха по техниката "декупаж" за една дама, която имаше рожден ден по-рано този месец. Отново използвах същия мотив с рози, както и при първия му опит с декупаж, защото тази дама обожава рози. Според мен този втрои опит се оказа доста по-сполучлив от първия. Сложих по една малка розичка от вътрешната страна на капака и на дъното на кутията. Ето няколко снимки:
