My Stitching Place

I saw this design in a Rico magazine and fell in love with it! So I stitched it, using the threads, left from La Bretagne on 32 ct Belfast Linen. I love the result, the roses are so gentle! I'm thinking to frame them in a white square frame.







Влюбих се в това моделче още щом го видях в списание Рико! Уших го с конците, които ми останаха от La Bretagne на лен Белфаст 32-ри каунт. Много съм доволна от резултата, розичките станаха много нежни! Мисля да ги сложа в бяла рамка, дано намеря нещо подходящо.

I didn't manage to complete La Bretagne in time, but the most important thing is that is already finished and framed. My mother liked it very much and I'm very happy about it. She's having a hard time and I wanted to bring her some joy and to make her at least a bit happier. So here is the mini landscape, finished, framed and hanged on the wall:





Не успях да завърша La Bretagne на време, но по-важното е, че гобленчето вече е готово и рамкирано. Майка ми се зарадва много и го хареса. В момента тя преживява доста труден момент и исках да я зарадвам поне малко. На снимките се вижда готовото и рамкирано гобленче, което вече е закачено на стената.

This is my last WIP - a small landscape by Royal Paris, called "La Bretagne". The kit came with a plastic hoop in dark pink colour - I'll use it for a frame of the finished piece. I want to finish it this week and to give it to my mother as a present for her nameday. Hope I can manage, it's a small piece. The picture is from yesterday and after I took it, I continued stitching, so my progress now is bigger.





Това е гобленчето, по което работя в момента - "La Bretagne" на Royal Paris. В комплекта има пластмасова рамка, подобна на гергеф, която ще използвам за рамкиране. Иска ми се да довърша гобленчето до края на тази седмица, за да го подаря на майка ми за именния й ден. Надявам се да успея, защото гобленчето не е много голямо. Снимката е от вчера, така че в момента имам по-голям напредък.

This is the name of my last work - a freebie by Michael Powell.
I chose green Aida 14 and I'm very pleased with the result. I framed it myself in an pale orange frame (the photos don't show the original colour). It turned out to be a very colourful and fresh piece!






Последната миниатюра, която уших, се казва "Цветя в стъклена ваза" и е безплатен модел на дизайнера Майкъл Пауъл. Избрах зелена панама Аида 14 и съм доста доволна от крайния резултат. Рамкирах сама гобленчето в бледо оранжева рамка. В крайна сметка се получи едно доста цветно и свежо гобленче!

I first saw a notebook in Vaida's blog and loved her work. I decided I would give it a try some day. Then I found a wonderful notebook tutorial in Loreta's blog and the notebooks she's made. So after quite a long time of hesitation, today I finally chose a desing for my first notebook: Petit Coeur III by Atalie. I stitched it on dyed Aida 14 with DMC 99.
За първи път видях такъв тефтер в блога на Вайда и много ми хареса. След време открих прекрасно ръководство за избработката им, направено от Лорета. Днес най-после се престраших да опитам да направя нещо подобно.Моделът, който си харесах е на Ataliе и се казва Petit Coeur III. Изполвах тонирана панама Аида 14 и меланжиран конец ДМЦ 99.



After my stitching was completed I started mounting on the notebook. As I've mentioned, I used Loreta's tutorial. It looks good as a first try. I think I'll make some more notebooks in the future.
За направата на самия тефтер използвах ръководството на Лорета. Като за първи опит, мисля, че изглежда добре. Със сигурно ще направя и други такива тефтер в бъдеще.
